Fast head exchange
Upgrade, Don't Through Away!
Almost all recent automotive engines using alloy cylinder heads, have a design such that the camshaft journals run directly
in the alloy cylinder head material, therefore there are no replaceable inserts (camshaft bearings).
Often if a bearing or camshaft journal was damaged, the cylinder head would be discarded.
We now have the equipment and technical exertise to repair your damaged alloy cylinder heads and camshafts.
We line bore damaged bearing surfaces and fit the area with a pair of shell bearings or a bushing.
We repair damaged camshaft bearing areas by a build up process. We then grind the journal to standard size or we can grind it
.010 or .020 over to correct any size problem on the head.
